first 2 weeks!

Hi family! Happy belated birthday Kolby! And happy early Father's Day!

So my first 2 weeks in Thailand has been pretty amazing. Except for the 32 mosquito bites that I've gotten so far =\. Most of them have faded though, so not a problem!

On my first 2 days, I just got situated, met the other students there and got a tour of Chiang Mai by former and current students who have done the program before. It was a real coincidence for me because one of the girls on the trip (there are 11 students total) had volunteered for this one NGO in Cambodia that I was doing my research paper on last semester. So I got to talk to got her about Cambodia and whatnot. The other students were really interesting too. One was from Boston, one was from Brown University, two were from University of Florida, one from Maryland, one from Iowa, and one from Gambia, Africa.

Okay, I gotta go pack for Laos. More when I return! And pictures!
